Bachelor’s Degree required; Masters preferred

Must have prior government or insurance
healthcare program operations experience;
Medicaid and/or CHIP program experience
preferred

Minimum of 5 years experience with business,
technical, and policy issues related to health
information technology and health information
exchange

Knowledge of and experience working with HIT
standards such as WEDI X12N, HL7, LOINC, and
HITSP.

Must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general
business periodicals, professional journals,
technical procedures, or governmental
regulations
·
Ability to write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals
·
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such
as probability and statistical inference
·
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions,
percentages, ratios, and proportions to
practical
· Ability
to interpret a variety of instructions furnished
in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
·
Must have working knowledge of word processing,
spreadsheet, Visio, MS Project, PowerPoint,
e-mail, and Internet software |
