SUMMARY:
Manages and completes proposal production including
printing, creation of cover pages, spines, and tabs,
binding, packaging, and shipping. Responsible for
managing production timelines and ensuring deadlines are
met. Performs additional duties for the proposal center
such as managing the resume database and updates,
managing the SharePoint Portal for the Proposal Center,
updating and tracking project summaries, and other
duties, as needed to support proposal
development/proposal center activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
§
Responsible
for managing the proposal production process for all
proposals going through the proposal center.
§
Coordinate
with Proposal Center Lead to ensure templates address
all the requirements for file naming, i.e., cd labels,
cover page items, volumes, dividers, etc.
§
Coordinate
delivery of the proposal, which may include utilizing
FedEx, hand-delivery, personally traveling to deliver
the proposal, etc.
§
Coordinate/schedule with IT to make sure all systems and
supplies are ready before crunch time.
Coordinate with IT to ensure there will be support
available during the production time.
§
Must possess
MS Word, Adobe .pdf, and general IT skills
§
Must have
basic Quality Assurance skills and be able to review
proposal header/footers/pg#s, heading numbering, TOC,
make sure all graphics are legible and fit the
page/space necessary, ensure the document is set-up for
double sided printing, as required, verify that all
required forms are completed correctly, verify that all
necessary signatures are in place, look for and correct
basic typos and grammatical errors. Perform other
related QA tasks, as needed.

Obtain and
place original signatures in the correct locations using
the correct forms
§
Must have
the ability to maintain document control/versions during
chaotic times. Responsible for creating the final draft
test print and ensuring that any changes by the PCL are
implemented before final production takes place.
§
Responsible
for working with the Research Analyst and PCL to ensure
that the final draft is redacted, as needed, and
uploaded to the SharePoint Portal in a timely manner.
§
Must be
detail-oriented and have the ability to stay calm, be
systematic and organized under extreme pressure and
deadlines.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.A.)
from four-year College or university and one to two
years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read, analyst,
and interpret general business periodicals, professional
journals, technical procedures, or governmental
regulations. Ability to write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to
effectively present information and respond to questions
from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the
general public.
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY
Ability to calculate
figures and amount and apply basic math concepts.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common
sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished
in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with
problems involving several concrete variables in
standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must be proficient in word
processing, spread sheet, e-mail, database, Internet
software, and SharePoint. Must have Adobe Professional
and Microsoft Office experience with Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, and Visio. Experience with jpeg
applications a plus.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Must have excellent
communication and problem-solving skills. Must be able
to work independently with limited supervision and meet
all deadlines.
